If you to donate to the United Way of Trumbull County, you can designate Putting Downs First as the recipient of all or a portion of your contribution.   Many employers offer a  payroll deduction  plan to contribute to the United Way.  If you are presently enrolled, you may simply ask your Human Resources Department for a new Pledge Form or download one at:

Under section 3, "DESIGNATION OPTIONS", there is a place to list "Local Health and Human Service Agencies" to which you would like to direct your contribution.  There you can write in Putting Downs First and specify the city as Southington.   Don't forget to fill in the dollar amount you wish to donate towards  programs for those with Down syndrome.

If your employer offers the program but you are not enrolled, please consider filling out the pledge form today.  A small contribution from each pay goes a long way to help advocate for our friends with Down syndrome and provide enrichment activities, family resources, and educational programs.

Also, if you pledge just $10 per month the United Way of Trumbull County will send you a Caring Club membership card which entitles you to discounts and complimentary items at over 50 area restaurants, florists, dry cleaners, pizza shops and more!  Visit their website at http://www.unitedwaytrumbull.org to learn more about the Caring Club.

If your employer does not offer this payroll deduction opportunity, you may be eligible to receive theCaring Club discount card by downloading the Pledge Form and sending a "Direct Gift" of at least $120 to United Way of Trumbull County.

For those of you who work elsewhere and the payroll deduction plan is designated for a United Way in a different county,  you can direct your contribution to Trumbull County and Putting Downs First.  Simply fill in the "Other United Way" portion of section 3.
